Happy Thanksgiving Everyone !
Stacking The Shelves is an anytime meme hosted by Tynga Reviews. It allows you to showcase the books you've recently added to your book shelves, whether they're physical or digital.
Some of the books I found on my tablet were free $99, and others I've purchased. Let's dive in!
The Darkest Minds | Alexandra Bracken
I was completely shocked when I seen that this was free on Barnes & Noble and Amazon! I've been wanting to read this for a while, but never was motivated enough to pick it up. But, since it has ah-mazing reviews on goodreads and booktube, I thought " Why not?"
The Young Elites | Marie Lu
Goodreads
I've been eyeing The Legend Trilogy for quite some time now, but have always been a little hesitant to purchase them. When I heard Ms.Lu was coming out with The Young Elites, I kept my eyes & ears open for other reader's reviews and opinions, and since I've heard nothing but great things so far, I decided to go ahead and add it to my collection. Hopefully this will entice me to finally read her other works.

So I know that Rachel Hawkins wrote the book Hex Hall, and Julie Kagawa wrote The Forever Song & Immortal Rules, but I haven't read anything from either author. So I figured I'll be killing two birds with one stone by picking this up, and let's not forget to mention it was freeeeee.
Where There's Smoke | Jodi Picoult
Goodreads
Jennie from JennieLouise, had recommended one of Jodi Picoult's books to me a couple of months ago. Since this is a short story, I think it's best if I start here just to get a feel for Jodi's writing. I've heard that she's an amazing storyteller, so I'm almost positive I'll enjoy her work.
Interview With The Vampire | Anne Rice
First of all, how could I not get this! It's a graphic novel, the girl looks really creepy, (and I love creepy) it has a 4.29 rating on goodreads, anddddd it was free. Can't pass that up!
Vicious | V.E Schwab
I've been wanting to read this for forever! I mean come on, the idea of two guys being homies, then becoming enemies?! YASS count me in! I'm in such a fantasy kick nowadays anyway lol.

The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook | Dinah Bucholz
Goodreads
I was so freaking excited when I seen this. Yea it's an Unofficial Harry Potter cookbook, but okay who cares?! I'm loyal to my ex-husband Harry, (even though he cheated on me. Hence the whole "ex-husband" thing lol) but I'll still buy anything with his name on it. Well not anything. The only thing disappointing about this free version, is that not all of the recipes are included. There's about 150 recipes included in this cookbook, and with the free version you only get maybe a handful. But that's cool. I seen a picture of a physical copy someone took online and I'm purchasing this baby!
All The Light We Cannot See | Anthony Doerr
Goodreads
So, I was actually stalking Joy's blog . . . okay I'm not 100% sure her name is Joy, but her blog's name is Joyous Reads, so I'll call her that for now lol. So anywho, I was stalking Joy's blog as usual, and after reading her review for ATLWCS, I immediately went over to amazon and purchased it. If you aren't already following Joy, please do! She does amazing reviews, on a great mix of books, andddd her photography skills are A1!

Nyctophobia | Christopher Fowler
I'm a big fan of horror and I was looking for something that could possibly have me too scared to go pee in the middle of the night. So I said you know what, I'm going to use my trusty friend google to find a book. This is what I searched:
" Books that will scare the shit out of me "
Nyctophobia was on multiple sites for being a scary read.
" Books that have weird and creepy writing like American Horror Story."
Lol, okay so my search for a scary book was kind of pathetic but, this book was listed under both search results, so I guess that's a win for me!

Jane and the Twelve Days of Christmas | Stephanie Barron
Goodreads
I was searching on goodreads for something to read for the holiday season when I came across this. What intrigued me the most, is that:
a). It's a Historical Fiction AND Mystery novel.
b). The Character is based off of the classic author Jane Austen.
Very, very intriguing. Since I'm not a big reader of classics, I figured I would pick this up to get that classic-y feel. If that makes any sense lol.

So there you have it! I'm really excited for the books that I've hauled, and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to read them sooner rather than later.
Enjoy your holidays guys!
