Top Ten Tuesday (1) Authors That I NEED To Read More Books From!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish. This week's topic is the top ten authors that I've only read one book from but need to read more.

Sarah J. Maas

I've only read Throne of Glass by her so far, but I plan on continuing the rest of the series.

Tahereh Mafi

Okay so this is sort of cheating, because I read 25% of Unravel Me, but I ended up putting it down because Juliette and Adam's relationship was soo overbearing, I just could NOT deal guys. I do want to continue the series, because everyone seems to love it, so maybe I'll continue one day . . . maybe.

Tabitha Suzuma

Forbidden is one of my favorite books ever! I haven't read any of her other work, but they have amazing reviews and ratings on goodreads. I definitely need to add more books from her to my amazon wishlist.

Mary E. Pearson

I adored the Kiss of Deception, and didn't know she had others book until I posted my review for it on goodreads. She has soooo many books with great ratings, like where have I been? Under a rock?

John Irving

I read In One Person back in 2012, and haven't stopped thinking about it since. That book impacted me greatly because I can relate in so many ways. I lost a family member to HIV in 2009, so reading about when the epidemic started in America hit home for me. It was an incredibly weird and crazy book, but I loved every minute of it. He has a handful of books that I need to add to my wishlist as well.

Andrew Smith

Winger is another title that is one of my all time favorites. I haven't read Grasshopper Jungle just yet, but I do own 100 Sideways Miles, and plan on reading it in October.

Jennifer L. Armentrout

I've read Wait For You by Jennifer, and although I breezed through the first of half of the book, the second half and ending left me cringing. I started just skimming through the rest of the book to finish, so I don't see myself continuing with the series, trilogy, or whatever. But, I do want to read the LUX series. Mainly because the books are in a bind up and I love big books lol.

Lauren Oliver

I have NO clue why I haven't read more of her books! I read Delirium and loved it, I just really suck at finishing series.

Morgan Matson

I lovedddddd Amy & Rogers Epic Detour, and I've been dragging my feet on reading Since You've Been Gone. It's not that I don't want to, I'm just trying to get a handle on my already overflowing TBR pile before I jump into this. I need to give it my undivided attention. lol

Michelle Hodkin

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer was so good! I haven't finished the trilogy because again, I obviously suck at finishing series. I'm getting better though, don't fret!

I'm also not sure why I haven't read more of Lauren Oliver's work. I love her writing, and the Delirium was really good. Have you read Rooms as well? Wait , that's what it's called right?

    1. I trust your recs Belle you haven't steered me wrong yet lol. Man when I seen that bind up, I was like OMG. It's just so big, and thick, and floppy looking. I wanted it for that reason alone. I was kinda skeptical about it because it's written by Jen and her Wait For You book was just . . . I'm not even going to start on that lol. Then there's the fact that the book is about Aliens, or somebody is an Alien. Or am I wrong ? lol

And regarding the Shatter Me series, I had problems as well but the last book was everything I asked for. Seriously, I've never seen such powerful character development in my entire life

    1. You're seriously making me want to continue the story. My favorite character was actually Warner, he kept me going but I just couldn't deal with Juliette and Adam. I heard it gets better, so I think I'll continue soon. I love Winger! Omg the illustrations are so fun, and the dialogue is pretty hilarious. The ending was like WHOA, there's just no words lol. I definitely recommend TOG, TUOMD, and TKOD. I really enjoyed them!
